As a Belgian I expect great quality fries. Those ones are not as good as Belgian fries but there are acceptable. I regret the selection of sauces is quite limited. However, I recommend the Pinda saus. Very good ! :-)

We'd seen folks carrying around conical cups of think cut fries (from an American's perspective) and were delighted to find this small shop after our bike ride. Delicious food served up by friendly staff, cooked as you watch. Delicious, and highly recommended.

Every time I went to Haarlem I walked by the shop and was always full, maybe because it's a small place. The first time I had the opportunity to stop and had some fries I understood why. The quality of the potatoes, the way how they do it and the sauces are excellent. Since then every time I pass by... More

I go to Haarlem once in a while because I love this little town . Not far away from the Haarlem Station is the Fiethoes. I really love their business idea of serving organic potato chips , frikandels and krokets . Their potatos are freshly cut on the spot , fried at the right temperature at the right time. The... Ever since visiting Belgium as a teenager many years ago, I have dreamed about Belgian fries and mayonnaise. The fries and mayonnaise did not disappoint! They were fresh and excellent! Dreaming of going back:)

Excellent fries, finally you can eat fries made from potatoes and not something similar to potatoes. Place is small, there are a couple of benches and chairs outside but it's just beautiful the place. Recommend

If you like your fries double fried and organic this is the place you will want to go. You and a lot of other people. Be prepared for a line, however the wait will more than be worth it when you sink your teeth into the best fries this city has to offer.

Any excuse will do to get in the neighborhood of Friethoes and make a stop. Organically grown potatoes are the basis, fried excellently. it comes with your own choice of mayonaise. And the good thing is that they serve different size portions so I don't feel guilty to have these fries anytime (I did not have a good lunch at... More

This is a little small take-away shop selling Belgium Frites, there isn't anywhere to sit inside, basically just a counter. The Frites are good, in fact very good, but the portion size is a small cone and therefore small, you get a few options of sauce (which is extra), but overall the quality is good. I've only ever seen one... More
