I used to enjoy passing the boudewijn for a drink when i was on the binnenweg because they always have an interesting selection of twenty or so beers on tap, but the other day i noticed the prices which were already high have now gone a bit silly. 6.50 for a bottle of rochefort8??? you can check the menu online... This speciality beer café caters to locals and tourists alike. The have a huge collection of beers, both on draft and in bottles. Our waiter was friendly, but he didn't know a lot about the beers they are serving. Prices for beers and snacks are (too) high.

There was no soap anywhere in the whole restaurant to wash my hands after the toilet as i was told by the personel. Imagine a pub full of people drinking beers, going to the toilet and then touching everything with dirty hands. And how about the people that prepare and serve food...... disgusting and most important dangerous for public health.

This is a great bar with a huge huge menu for beers with a great list and a lot of different types. The service is quite good but a little brusque the decor and setting is nice though

Top notch food. We had burgundian ham (which is a knuckle of ham on the bone) with mashed potatoes and a rich sauce + the lamb rack. The apple pie afterwards was just great. Extensive beer list was a bonus.

No prizes for guessing that this bar specialises in Belgium beers, but it does it very well. There is an outside terraced area and inside seating by bifold doors that were open on the warm night we visited. Plenty of choice of draft and bottle beers all well kept and presented. A good end to a night out.

We really had a good time getting together with our cousins. 13 of us had decided to get together this summer for a reunion as many of us had not seen one another for quite sometime. We really were treated well and in addition to that the food was great and device wonderful

Situated in city center of Rotterdam. You can find over 100 types of beers. Location is near city center in a fibrant neighborhood. Decorated like a old cafe you will feel much at home. The Belgian food the served is also worth mentioning. We tried many types of beers and when you cannot make choices you can ask the friendly... More

The interior is very Art Deco and the garden at the back is charming. The food is good but not sensational but it is, after all,an eetcafe.A buzzy and busy place with good service and value for money
