Very eclectic blend of tastes and aromas. The chef is perfectly marrying the tastes of Asian cuisine with the South-American way of cooking. Ceviche and spicy meat are mixed with local delights with a twist. Especially the "frikadel speciaal" is a work of art! Exactly the same taste sensation as the famous Dutch snack, however here it's done with coral... More

Mochi has the best fusion concept in The Hague and clearly takes its French-Asian creations very seriously. Everything is fresh and perfectly cooked with creations that are delicious and interesting. Remember to order an aperitif and take your time to peruse the great menu because you'll need some time to decide and it will not be easy. Going with a... More

I had been here twice before, and definitely wanted to come back. We had to travel a bit to get to this restaurant, but that is all worth it. We paid 42€ per person for a three-course meal, each course consisting of several small bites (like you would eat tapas or sushi). Our favorites were: the sea bass ceviche with... More

3 couples went there for dinner, we had it at the terrace on a nice summer night, and we just paid too much for little food. I will not discuss about fusion or not.. for me those flavours are not fusion, I am too used to them, but going to eat to a restaurant and leave with hunger is the... More

We have been to this places a couple of times and every time we are very happy with it. It's the only place in The Hague where you can taste something that is not the usual thing! In this restaurant you can't choose what to have, there is a fixed menu that changes every now and then. So you have... More

Some background: I'm American, lived in the Netherlands for years, and I have been all over Asia for months at a time. Also, I really don't like shellfish or plantains. So you would think me a fool take a chance on a place that specializes in all of the things that I either don't like or have high standards for.... More

Yesterday we took some friends to Mochi for dinner and as always we went home with happy faces! The fixed menu is always very delicious and interesting. The asian-latin fusion is so nice. The fixed meny consists of 3 times four smaller dishes. It started with an oyster in a pepper-lime sauce. I'm not an oyster person, but this one... More

We walked in looking forward to this dinner after reading the reviews. Lovely interior. We received beautiful looking dishes to share between 4. However impressive it was, we were slightly disappointed as we expected larger sizes. Service was friendly but extremely slow, seeing the restaurant was far from full. We walked out, unfortunately, hungry. We paid a high bill, not... More

Came here for a birthday celebration. The food was fusion between Latin American and Asian flavours. If you are an adventurous and easygoing eater this is a great place to try out new foods and interesting flavour combinations! There is no menu so you simply tell the waiter if you have certain food intolerances and how many courses you want... More

Mochi was born out of pure love! Patrick Buyze and Lissette Parra created a concept that intertwined both of their passion for travel and food. The restaurant offers a unique style of community dining serving Japanese-Latin American inspired dishes. The "Chefs Choice Menu" allows room for creativity and variety. With each course, you are served several distinct dishes to share and experience a journey of flavors like our famous Frikandel Speciaal.

Aside from the menu there are a few classic items that can be ordered like the Pizza Sashimi, Bonito Waved Tiger Prawns and Hirado Asparagus. This innovative "new style" of cooking was influenced during both of their extensive travels around the world including Japan, China, Indonesia, Thailand, Colombia, Argentina, Brasil and many others which led to this success.
