The welcome is very friendly, the food is good for value : "os a moelle" tasty, kidney perfectly cooked and a irish coffee a bit light in whiskey. Wine : an average Bourgeuil. All this with a bill 45 € per person. We will come back...sooner or later.More
stopped by this place Sat evening after 9PM. Was full just 2 seats left. We were welcome with a smile and immediately served water.
We enjoyed a delicious salad Folle du Perigord with duck and foie gras.
As they ran out of Cahors, we took...the Spanish Tempranillo which was tasty, but gave headaches the next morning probably too much sulfites.
Would be good that the patron reads this and takes a better quality Spanish wine - there are plenty!
Lovely evening with very efficient and friendly staff
less than 70eur for 2 with a dessertMore
The food was tasty and well presented; the menu has a reasonable, but neither extensive nor very original choice of dishes; the wine list has something for every taste. The total cost for an evening meal reaches easily between 40 and 50 € per person....The quality of the service was much more disappointing: at no point during the evening were we really made to feel welcome, on the contrary. Even though the place was not full, the waitress was not very forthcoming and she seemed sometimes annoyed when we hesitated while ordering. She was definitely annoyed when we failed to mention that one of the dishes we ordered was the one mentioned on the set menu and not the identically named one in the general menu ... One expects more warmth from the staff in a small and quite expensive restaurant on a not very busy evening !More
