My friend Irene came across Les Dames Tartines as she was staying at nearby Hotel Bloom. It's a gem of a restaurant, and a very welcome alternative to either overpriced, and undistinguished, expense-account restaurants, or to indifferent bistro food. The two ladies in charge have owned the place for over 30 years, and their dedication, excellent taste and brilliant results... More

i am really proud to find this restaurant a long time ago. The dames are perfect and really constant for the welcome and the perfect cooking. It 's always a pleasure to be there. The service is personal and the food are different upon the weeks. The owner's are always looking for new gustative challenges...and always the taste....go go and... More

It's a nice little restaurant located in Brussels. The food is exquisite with very nice combinations - it's balanced and local. Ask the waitress/co-owner of the restaurant for recommendations! The service can be a bit slow but it's compensated with the quality of the cosyness of the place. Note that the price tend to be on the high end, but,... More

Delightful. Food was near perfect. Service was personal. It's a small, 10 table restaurant. Appears to be owned and operated by two people. Very personal service, food was near perfect, balanced, not too heavy, but rich nontheless. Excellent wine menu, fit's all budgets, but steers expensive. Wonderful wine recommendations. Ask them.

It's a quirky little place (look under the linen: the tables are actually old sewing machine trestles!), but absolutely charming. The lady who is front of house has a reputation for being a bit ascerbic, but she was polite and attentive when we went. The food is exquisite. I had mushrooms to start (simple but utterly delicious), followed by the... More

With only one night in Brussels and having never been there before, I planned the visit around a chance for a unique and great meal. I was not disappointed with this choice, although since I was dining solo my small appetite could not do justice to the many tempting menu offerings. My french skills are weak but I was seated... Cozy little place with 10 tables set with exquisite detail. A short but well thought menu that changes frequently starring the seasonal products. An exhaustive wine list with something for every taste and budget. We ordered the market menu for 36 Euros pp, beef tartar with foi gras and mussels vélouté for entree; which was as delicious as it looked... More
