Ched Dirk surely knows how to make his guests happy! Very typical interior, mildly noisy atmosphere, waiters like in the days of the classic brasseries in Paris, this restaurant has it all. The menu is full of signature dishes, and these are really heaven, but be aware that the chef is using ingredients that not everybody likes ? On the... More

Great food, great service, great beer. For starters, try the ventrèche de porc basque snackée - it's mindblowing.

The restaurant is a gorgeous environment in which to dine and the food is tremendous. Not inexpensive but delicious and great wine list too.

Arrogant and slow service. The food was nothing to write home about. Took the cheeks and was not impressed. Eatable but nothing close to the cost charged. I would not be back.

We ate here back in December and I originally booked it as the location was decent and the menu sounded very good. I wasn't disappointed. The building was formerly a post office, but the decor was very art-nouveau. The wallpaper was slightly dated, with patches of velvet, but it added so much character to the place. It was traditional and... More

Les Brigittines means Brussels tradition. It's an authentic brasserie located in a typical building next to Marolles and Sablon. Sitting near a large fireplace you feel a warm atmosphere in a Art Deco decor with tapestries a little faded, panelling, paintings. Les Brigittines cuisine has also a solid traditional Belgian background with creative input : shrimp croquettes, tuna fish tartar,... More

We went back last night in this typical Brussels Tavern & Restaurant. Truly, this is the place to go for a very nice time : the warm atmosphere and the magic of the food is a delight !! and the service, absolutely perfect. A place you can trust.

The food was really bad (look at the picture - so gross!), the service was even worse and it was very expensive. I woulden't even recommend this place to my worst enemy. There are so many nice places in Brussels, this is not one if them - stay away!

I went here with my family and the service was terrible. Not even once did the waitress ask what we wanted and we always had to fight for their attention. Furthermore, the food was not good and the overpriced. Don't go there!

ALL in all, food is elegant and yummi, and a beautiful room. We were a groupe of 20+ ppl, so food and been pre-ordered. As a starter, Iwas served a carrot with hollandaise sauce. Utterly minimalistic, not for anyone, but I found it sweet and tasty. For main course I had cod which was perfectly cooked. Dessert was a nice... More
