Even if it is for a quick aperitif before going to nearby restaurant, Noordzee is a must. Fresh and cheap finger foods including Croquettes Crevettes and a good selection of wine. Good stop for a quick bite on the run. Friendly staff.

Mer du Nord is a fish stand that specializes in mussels. There's no seating, you eat at stand up tables in the square. Good selection of various mussel preparations as well as other seafood dishes. Sodas, beer and wine are available.

Recommend! No doubts! If you want sea food, go to the Mer du Nord. There are 3 restaurants in Brussels. Try fish soup, famous one. And depend on the season, go for the oysters or other sea shells.

Delicious seafood and great staff! The staff help you to pick out from window or from the menu and explain what they offer. Must try!
