Smashing place on the corner of the square next to the flea market in Jeu de Balle. Not made to look old and interesting (you know who you are in the south of England), but genuinely just as it has evolved over time. Family run for 38 years. Great staff and food and hot choc the best. If they have... More

A perfect refuge from the busy flea market near by, this cafe had welcoming staff and a good selection of beers. Although we didn't order food, the open kitchen looked clean and smelled amazing. I'd definitely eat there. Free wifi to boot too! ... code available about the bar! Definitely worth a stop!

Four of us called in last Friday, it's a no pretentions, decent cafe and has lots of local customers. We really enjoyed a decent lunch and a couple of beers, the duo de boudins was great: one white and one black (pudding) sausage, mashed potatoes apple sauce and some mustard on the side. Friend had the lasagne and described it... More

A true neighbourhood, locals bar with no pretensions or frills. Classic cafe with bric-a-brac abounding including a dark wooden model of a building of sorts hanging out from over the bar. Food is excellent value and the sandwiches huge. A must-visit place.

If you're in the neighbourhood ("De Marollen") do stop. A very authentic place with a good selection of belgium beers combined with one of the best hamburgers we had for some time.

Spotted in one of the most authentic area of Bruxelles, if you're a tourist or just going down to Sablon, you should be better to stop in the corner. La Brocante, its design, its atmosphere, its beer and its chicons a gratin are simply one of the best memories of all people came to visit me. On Sunday then it's... More

I was looking a place to have a beer and it was perfect. They have a very large choise of belgian beers. You can also eat some typical belgian food. It's simple but good and the portions are large.

The food is great with a great selection of beers. Lasagna was excellent and the soups perfect for a cold fall day. The best part was the server was fun and very accommodating. (And entertaining!!)

Went here twice after the local flea market, great baguettes and a great selection of beers, it can get really crowded but it has a great atmosphere. There are tables outside as well.

Very lovely and helpful staff. Really enjoyed the Péche au Thon, was a tasty surprise. Near the flea market, but in a nice and quiet corner.
