Really liked the food here and the prices are not bad either, given the central location. Hosts were very patient with our constant questions and made sure we enjoyed our dining experience. 10/10 would recommend.

After fancying a curry we stumbled upon this Indian restaurant. The food was pleasantly surprising and found after the waiter asked us how we liked our food cook (spice) that the food was very nice. Was very quiet for a restaurant just off the grand place but I'm glad that didn't put us off. Prices reasonable for the centre of... More

La Maharani is an old and cosy Indian restaurant. The owner was helpful with telling which dishes were vegan. The mutton tikka masala bore no resemblance to real tikka masala, it was just mutton in tomatoe sauce, no flavour, not even a remote taste of Indian food. My colleague had vegetable biryani, that, however, was quite OK.

Waiter was unfriendly. If you see the toilet, you will have questions how the kitchen will look like. Never again.

Pretty plain operation in terms of decor etc,; food was OK. Good enough for a group of hungry friends out for a casual meal, who choose the restaurant at random.
