I must say that Frederic Blondeel has redefined chocolate for me. In fact, Frederic Blondeel pralinés, truffles, chocolate coated speculoos and nutty meringues have become some of my favorite gifts for guests, friends and family. The hot chocolate actually deserves that name, being a dense chocolate concoction that lets you experience the intense flavor of the chocolate and the other... More

This place was recommended by my air bnb host. I got a box of pralines and some chocolate covered biscuits and now I wish I had brought back more. My dad and I have been hiding the chocolates from each other. The pralines are truly spectacular, layers of flavour. It's just good stuff-they know what they are doing.

Probably one of my favorite chocolatiers in Brussels specializing in interesting flavors like bay leaf and basil. Their passionfruit caramel is to die for. The flavor of the passionfruit is so intense. This particular location also serves ice cream and coffee and there is a small sit down area. Service can be a little slow but the chocolate is worth... I went in briefly just to buy 15 EUR box of chocolates but the store looked comfy and there were people enjoying desserts. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to sit... Also this place didn't accept AMEX, but if you go to another one in Sablon, they take AMEX and select chocolates from the display as opposed to a prepackaged box... More

I walked in and the place was really clean and welcoming. Reasonable prices and good ice cream. I recommend the caramel beurre sale.

My wife is a chocolate addict and one of the only things she arranged for our trip to Brussels was a chocolate tour. We went to 6-7 places, mainly all the fancy, pricey and high end palaces of cocoa and of them this was the winner for us! Priced as fairly as some of the most costly in town and... More
