We were 12 students stopping by to eat. The waitress advice us to order a mix of everything and guaranteed us it would be largely enough. The food was really really delicious but we got maybe three spoon of each plate (For the meatballs, 1.5 per person...) and afterward nothing more. 22€ for a small plate was expensive for us... More

All the dishes are delicious and the waiter gives you great advice to choose the right beer to go with your meal. The waterzois are very tasty, the carbonade fantastic and if you have a hard time choosing, you can have a selection of 4 traditional dishes! The waiter is friendly and explains the different beer traditions.

Top notch service, very attentive, friendly and great beer recommendations based on the food we ordered. I had the waterzooi and it was the best waterzooi I've had in Brussels. My friend had the Bruxiflette which was just perfect for a cold rainy day, and my sister had the boulettes à la liegeoise which she loved. The quality of the... More

We found this place purely by chance on New Year's Day lunchtime. It looked very inviting from outside, down a side street. We both had the flemish stew, beef in a dark beer gravy with mashed potato. Along with 2 different Belgian blonde beers recommended by the host to allow us to compare the flavours. First class. Highly recommended.

Excellent simple local fare. When I was there, there was no seafood so it might not be typical from the moules frites side of things, but from the country side rustic side of things, it's spot on. Hearty stews and meatballs were on the menu and it was great.

After checking that this restaurant was open on a Saturday evening my husband, who is disabled, and I set off to find it. This took us a good hour and you can imagine our disappointment when we arrived outside at 8.30 pm to find it was closed when the website information states it is open until 10pm. Please, please can... More

We walked straight past here initially, thinking, wrongly, that somewhere so accessible to the passing tourist trade would sell substandard 'tourist' food. Oh my word. We were so wrong. After a look around the area and deciding that there were too many poor looking restaurants, we returned, hoping to find something half-decent. We certainly did, in fact much more than... More

Had the beef stew here paired with some Belgium beers. The host was brilliant! She recommended some good dishes with some beers. Her English was at a medium proficiency but she really took the effort to convey the message across and made us feel very taken care off. I highly recommend this place.

Thank GuruSri
