We chose the restaurant based on the recommendation of a local, and were not disappointed. The restaurant feels like one of those places that has been around for a long time, and has a devoted clientele. The staff is very professional, helpful and friendly. With our waiters help, we chose a delightful array of delicious dishes. The croquette aux crevettes... More

This restaurant did not live up to any of my expectations. My Tournedos de Bouef was very tough and chewy, a very poor cut of meat and it came with... chips.. Presentation was severely lacking on all of my 3 courses and the taste was of very plain uninspiring food prepared at an amateur level. Very expensive pricing for meals... More

The resteraunt has an air of grace with the waiters dressed very elegantly and the diners often adorning suits the first time we went to this resteraunt we had the best experience the steak was to die for but we haven't been able to replicate that experience so it's slowly falling of the lost of places for us to eat... Been suggested this place by a friend who's been there many times. Nice atmosphere but very busy (and noisy) place: perhaps for this reason the service was not particularly attentive, although polite and nice. Most importantly, my entrecôte was not tender at all unfortunately so I struggled a bit to cut the meat and enjoy it until the end. I... More

A nice place to take your friend and clients from out of town. The food is good. In the past, I had the feeling that some of the staff had been there 35 years ... and were tired of being nice. Here, on Friday night, we had a great waiter (with a Spanish accent ) and he made all the... More

A few days into my stay in Brussels, my fabulous hosts took me to this historic place for dinner. I was told it was more than a 100 years old and has had many generations of their family members visiting. The gallery in which it is situated has history from the wars...today of course it is adorned with chocolates more... More

Excellent brasserie in the heart of Brussels. Typical Belgian specialties are highly recommended, such as Croquettes (fried béchamel and grey shrimps mixture eaten with persil - sounds weird but yummy) or Filet Américain (aka Tartare). Friendly staff.

We settled on this place for an evening meal but were left disappointed. The waiters were a little arrogant and the service was poor, the food was pricey but OK and we generally felt like an inconvenience to the staff.

This restaurant is a throwback to the 50s with fine white linnen and gleaming cutlery. Waiters in black and white, chandeliers, well you get the picture. The food is decent, well cooked. we had a huge portion of fish, Skrie, cooked perfectly. There is nothing trendy, hip or even very healthy on offer here, but that is becoming this old... More
