I eat in this charming restaurant all the time i stop in Bruxelles for business. Quality food, variety, attention to details, nice and relaxed atmosphere especially on the roof floor, during springtime. You can't ask more to a restaurant.

Le Mess, which I'd passed by countless times, was the venue for a meal with good friend. Nice atmosphere, everything clean and efficient. Even though we'd arrived a 12:30, the lunch special (two courses for euros 21.50) was no longer available. We weren't in a...More

Rather small portions for the price, quality of one of the dishes we ordered was awful (coquilles St. Jacques). Actually you get 3 coquilles for 25€. Same for the ravioli: 5 of them for 22€. On top of this, every time the door opens there's...More

Good things first: the reception and service were efficient and friendly throughout the evening, top marks there. The location was also very nice (we sat in the verandah). Alas, food wise the experience was less than perfect. The menu offers a bit for every taste...More

Recommended to this restaurant by a colleague and was not disappointed. It is quite an unusual restaurant for Brussels being a modern design set in old building, and the cuisine has an emphasis on fresh and sustainable food. This ambiance was supplemented with very attentive...More

I have eaten many times at Le Mess and we have always enjoyed that experience. However our last visit was not worth the money we paid. We found the food expensive for what you get and so well cooked as in the past. Spending $300...More

Le Mess menu offers a wide range of tasty organic dishes following the rythm of the seasons using only local and healthy products. Restaurant Le Mess, situated in the heart of the Arsenal site, has been an major historic military place for more than a century and managed to keep its authentic architecture. After 75 years of military honours and 25 years of derelict, three friends were seduced by this place and decided to make a restaurant of it : Le Mess. Besides its two floors of dining area in a cosy atmosphere, you can also enjoy the sunny days in our glass room, which is perfect for every meeting or banquet. The restaurant's menu, following the rythm of the seasons, offers savourous dishes perfect for every occasion and always made out of local, organic and healthy products. Le Mess also welcomes you for your seminars, business meals, banquets or events. Possibility of renting rooms.
