Loved everything about this place. I had a wonderful ostrich fillet. Reasonably priced: 32 eur for a dinner with appetizers. They were very nice. I will be back.

Looking for an organic restaurant, with the family (my daughter with food intolerances) , I have appreciated everything of this restaurant. Charming atmosphere, excellent quality of the food (fish, cheese, dessert). To be strongly recommended.

My boyfriend and I visited this weekend the capitol of our own country. He made a reservation in Madou's Folie after checking out TripAdvisor. The lady who served us was very friendly. Although she's french, she tried to explain everyting in dutch. We chose the...More

Having been to an embarrassingly poor Rock Salt Chilli Peppers dinner the night before, this was a brilliant surprise. Slightly cheaper than RSCP, the quality of the food was *immeasurably* better: the quality of the produce was excellent throughout the courses and for all the...More

Madou's Provence is located just in short walk from the Park de Bruxelles, however, in a bit shabby neighbourhood. Food is the main attraction here: lightened, reduced sauces, emphasis on the plating, anglaise-boiled vegetables and borrowing from non-European techniques. And really good and well-pairing French...More

They go to a lot of effort - my boeuf aubrac and cote de veau were complex and no doubt original. But the first included what appeared to be daisies - why? The fussy nouvelle cuisine approach, with small servings artfully arranged on large plates,...More

Had set menu which offered a wonderful mixture from fresh mackerel to guinea fowl. Served in small, unpretentious surroundings with efficiency and a smile.

We came here with friends for an enjoyable dinner. We would have done the fixed menu of the day, but it only offered fish or duck for the main dish and two people in our party don't eat either of those. The whole table has...More

Atmosphere is very cosy and warm. Nice little elements like bug pattern on the curtains and glasses make it very sweet. And of course food tops it up! This was not the first time there (and definitely not the last) - and my plate is...More

I have been here several times already, both for lunch and for dinner. All three times the meal was excellent. Service is good. Atmosphere is better since they have replaced the white little chairs with more comfortable ones. In the evening, the atmosphere is somewhat...More

Located 800m from Grand-Place but off the beaten track, you will find one of the best places to eat Moules-frites or BBQed meat on vineyard wood but also a refined seasonal bistronomic cuisine. At lunch politicians and businessmen enjoy the quiet and cozy atmosphere (not suited for young children) in the evening the place is ideal for a romantic "tête-à-tête" or dinner amongst friends. Upstairs room for groups available.
Member of the Slow Food Alliance of Chefs, the cuisine is generous, tasty, colorful and seasonal. The Madou 's Folie restaurant is certified ORGANIC by Certisys BE-BIO-01 and at least 20% of the ingredients are from organic farming.

The menu list is short but well balanced, warrant of  great freshness. At noon, the Business Lunch offers 3 choices (meat, fish, vegetarian). In the evening, the Brussels Set Menu at 29 € and the Mussels Set Menu at 39 € are both offering good value for money. On request and booking, possibility of gluten or dairy free dishes.
