With limited French Vs English to work with we had a lovely lunch for 4. We were in a bit of a hurry to catch a bus and they did a great job. The food was delicious and very generous. We dined with a couple local dogs at the table next to us and they were well behaved. We had... More

Only had a coffee and croissant does this count for a review? They were both lovely by the way. I was seduced by the decor in this place. The marble tables - excellent. It could be a set on a movie in an archetypal Belgian cafe. A word of warning gentlemen. The toilets/restrooms are downstairs and the urinal is next... More

You get in, it's quite funny, like the place didn't change in 70 years. The personnel is rather funny and a bit strange but extremely friendly. The food is local and really tasty. The price is ok and they still serve beer with little cubes of cheese and celery salt. Miam

A group of us ate here and although the food was amazing the service was slow - very. Now I understand it was on the busy "Nuts" weekend, but surely they should anticipate this with extra staff. They also forgot a couple of drinks during the evening.

Classic old Belgian Cafe. Wonderful Art Nouveau styling which is visible in everything going on in the place. Plus lovely clean toilets, and great service

Mussels and fries is a Belgium tradition. It is very well served at this nice restaurant. We were very well treated both the first and second time, and with a host who not only welcomed us back, but did remember our preferences. Should you choose to go for the desert, the Colonel can be recommended.

It seems like a nice place. We went there for breakfast which seemed to bother the waiter. He focused on preparing the bar for the evening, I would guess. We had croissants and omelet, which were fine. The waiter got the order and also the bill wrong.

Le 1900 is a traditional Belgian café with a good combination of local regulars and tourists. They serve traditional Belgian style food and of course a selection of Belgian beers. The service is good and the prices are reasonable.

Looking for a relaxing dinner after a long drive to Bastogne, we opted for le1900. It was an excellent choice. Service was prompt. Though we can work our way through a French menu, we were offered English menus after a few minutes. Very kind. I had the salmon with white asparagus ( in season). Oh my, what a great choice!...
