The place has a menu to suit most pallets. My wife and I had the sea food platter and thought is was great. The only downside is that it is a very full place and therefore noisy. Even so we would certainly visit again.

Pakhuis is a high quality place with a very appealing interior. I usually stick with fish when I go there and have not been disappointed yet. They do have menus containing a starter, main dish and desert which offer a good value. Make sure to...More

Outstanding seafood. Friendly staff but not so good at serving the tables during the dinner. Alot of noise if the place is packed. Prices are absolute fair

We used to live in Ghent 15 years ago and the Pakhuis was the best place in town and it remained that way. Delicious food, great service and beautiful location. Thank you for the great time spent at the Pakhuis.

Visited with friends on a Saturday. Service was very good and friendly staff, food was average and over priced.

Quite possibly the best steak I've ever eaten. Dessert wasalsofab with strawberries, rhubarb and homemade ice cream. Certainly challenges Texas....can't recommend enough.

Unfortunately this was a disappointing end to a short break in Flanders. I had pre-booked Pakhuis based on a good experience a few years ago and the service has clearly gone down hill. The aperitifs that initially turned up were for the adjacent table. The...More

Fun, loud, large two storey restaurant with a menu filled with tons of seafood, lots of oysters, and interesting dishes including lamb, butcher’s cuts of beef and specials featuring seasonal vegetables, in our case, some delicious white asparagus. Food was good to very good, not...More

North Sea catch of the day was my choice for dinner. I choose the Price fix menu, with starter, main and dessert. Very boisterous crowd inside. Quiet outside. Food was very good, staff excellent!

Via an atmospheric alleyway between the towers of Ghent, you enter the distinctive Brasserie Pakhuis. You will immediately be overwhelmed by the enormous space, which exudes the atmosphere of the former warehouse. Portuguese architect Pinto has given the premises a new lease of life. A unique combination of a 600 m² storage space with specially designed interior elements. You can admire the architecture from any angle, and experience the culinary highlights. In other words: gastronomy in a spectacular setting.
