Excellent little restaurant with loads of character. Comfortable cozy welcoming interior provides a great environment for enjoying the excellent and abundant food. We started with a trio of croquettes which were considerably worthier than others we had tried. Each of the shrimp, cheese, and sweetbread offerings clearly distinguished and nicely done. For the main course my Flemish beef stew was... More

Firstly I will stress that you need to book to eat at this gem of a restaurant. We were extremely lucky that they found us a table on arrival. Lucky is how we felt. This is a small restaurant a little off the tourist track but well worth a visit. Natalie made us feel at home and was friendly and... More

When you're warmly welcomed, the food is great and the beer is cold, you can't go wrong. This pub/restaurant is well away from the city centre. Very small place but also a happy place. Near Kruispoort. Everything in Bruges is walkable for even the moderately fit. Bikes are everywhere and rentable. There must be hundreds of restaurants in Bruges and... More

Just visited with my wife and mother for her 85th birthday. All I can say is that the whole experience was 1st class.I have never had such a friendly genuine welcome anywhere else ,compared to this little restaurant. Everything was excellent, food ,wine and as I said ,especially service. Thank you so much to our host for making this birthday... More

Booked this for dinner based on recommendation here and we weren't disappointed. It's a small place with maybe 10 tables? We were seated by the window and was romantic with candles etc around the room and jazz playing. The croquettes amazing, particularly the parmesan and the shrimp ones. Lovely waitress. Will go back.

Loved every bit of our visit here, from the cosy atmosphere to the great beer, from the charming staff to the awesome food! Ribeyes we're cooked to perfection. Reasonably priced wines, great waffles and pet friendly too. Recommended.

Excellent meal yesterday evening in this tiny and cozy restaurant managed by the couple of owner. We really spent an excellent evening for the following reasons: - friendliness of the waitress, welcoming, very polite, French-English-Flemish speaking. She spent time with many clients to chat a little bit, which let us feel like very welcome. We were late due to the... More

I picked this place in advance for our first night in Bruges (also my birthday) and didn't regret it. Lovely and cosy with lots of quirky decorations and a great hostess. The background music was also spot on and matched the mood of the restaurant. The food was delicious and I wanted something local rather than similar to a restaurant... More

We nipped in here for a quick drink on Sunday (although I understand that they’re not usually open on Sundays, and were only open on this occasion due to a market taking place on the street). Since we didn’t eat here, I cannot comment on the food, however, the staff were very welcoming and the drinks reasonably priced. In view... More

In a town filled with many restaurants that basically serve the same food, this place stands out. Must make a reservation, but worth the phone call. Fantastic atmosphere, warm and welcoming people, and the food was terrific. Had the baked potato with cream, bacon, and cheese. As simple as that sounds, it was wonderful! If I ever return to Brugge,... More
