Somehow I was the only person on the terrace and it seemed that the restaurant was about to close that evening becuase waiters were collecting tables and chairs on the outside. So I was being... This restaurant was great, staff easily recommended good beers and great dishes but they don't have enough staff and our poor waiter was run off his feet- despite that he still made time for us.

This restaurant is located in the hotel in which we were staying, so we dined here on a couple of occasions. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the service excellent. We really liked our waiter - so personable! On one occasion, all we wanted was a bowl of soup - no problem, even though it was their busy dinner time.... More

The food was very good. I thought as it was just a stop off point that is was going to be like a tourist trap but it wasn't. Though it was rammed with very little service. Don't be put off. The food was worth the wait and it was very reasonably priced.

I visited here with my mother and father on a trip and the food and local beer was excellent. The staff made the experience even better with the quality of service. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We ate here on a couple of occasions while in Bruges on a photo holiday with ventura holidays. We were a group of 8. Large menu, good food, helpful staff, good service. Situated in 'tZand piazza where there are lots of bars and hotels with restaurants. We thought this offered the best combination of value, menu choice and ambiance. As... More

Attractive old cafe with lots of old paintings and amazing chandeliers of cranberry coloured glass. A Golden Ape sits on the huge mantle piece above the fireplace. We enjoyed Flemish stew with salad and fries. Very tasty but would have preferred potaoes and veg with it - not something you see on menus in Belgium! The building interior has a... More

Good for the price. You never disappointed here. Good food on a fair price. A little crowdy but this is not a reason at all to give up
