We were very impressed with the set menu, it was gorgeous (heerlijk). As is said "you can judge a restaurant by it's cheapest wine", which for us was a Languedoc. All by all a wonderful experience for what seems to be the average price in most of the restaurants in Brugge.

This restaurant had been recommended by our hotel, and we could see why once we were seated in front of the fire. It looks stark, but the staff are friendly, and the fixed menu was both delicious and good value.

Came here based on a review in 100% brugge, but place has changed a lot apparently since it came out. Menu is rather expensive, as are the drinks (5euro for a local draft beer) Took the lunch menu special. Food was very salty and not that great. Hardly ate anything from my main course but it was cleared without asking.... More

We can in here for lunch. The atmosphere is green & rich brown with the tables laid out to allow space between tables and a pleasant conversational distance. Service was helpful and seated us promptly. We started with the recommended Gin & Tonic. The boutique gin is called Copper Head. Very tasty. The drink is served in a large glass... More

very nice place and very nice and helpful staff but the food was just OK and should have been great deal better for this amount of money. My steak, ordered medium rare was bloody and uneven, my marrowbone, which i tried for the first and last time , did not live up to expectations, it was just fat hot in... More

We dined at Den Dyver on our first night in Brugge, and it was a good introduction to the local cuisine: hearty meat dishes in generous portions, but also delicious fresh seafood too, presented with a good attention to detail. Not a good idea if you've started on a post-Christmas detox, but it proved to be just the thing for... More

We visited based on the lonely planet review and the ones on here. It was ok, we had the fruits de mer and there was a great selection and lovely oysters but the lobster (the star of the show) was over cooked which is pretty unforgivable. Wasn't busy at all when we visited.

Went for a romantic weekend away, our hotel booked us into this restaurant and it didn't disappoint. we had a fantastic night, food and wine to die for. epoxy to pay 200+ Euro for a couple if you have some quality wine. Very Friendly staff.

My husband and I had dinner on 11/10/16 at Den Dyver. The restaurant was not busy; there were only two other tables besides ours with a fourth after we finished our meal. We inquired before being seated about gluten-free options. The waiter went through options for us so we decided to stay. My husband ordered the sole, I ordered the... More

Our group of two couples had lunch in the outdoor patio on a late summer day, and it was quite wonderful. I had the menu of the day (excellent fish soup and rack of pork), everyone else had mussels, some with the garlic cream, and some in wine. They rhapsodized over the mussels and they were about as plump and... More
