The restaurant is cozy and pleasant. A little bit too cold inside. Very good service and good food. The portions were a little bit too small except the fish soup. They have good wines too. A little bit overpriced.

it will always be one of my favorite places fro lunch, when I'm in the city center of Bruges. It is fun to watch the chef preparing the yummy foods on the teppanyaki. The authentic Japanese flavors, hospitality and friendly staff, are absolutely a plus....More
Beautiful authentic Japanese style interior. Small menu with typical dishes that are carefully prepared and beautifully executed on the plate. More sophisticated than the average Japanese restaurants I have been to but you have to be willing to pay the price. Flavors were excellent!

Very nice sushi place well located in Brugge. Would love to give it more but it was decent sushi but very over priced. Charming atmosphere but maybe have a second look at other places before paying the high price.

Over 1 year ago I already visited Tanuki and wrote a review. It was not very positive, mainly due the fact that I felt we paid way too much for what we got. Last month we decided to give them a second chance. Instead of...More
You have sushi bars everywhere. You have the better Japanese restaurant and then you have Tanuki. This takes Japanese cuisine to a higher level. Tradition and innovation. The real wagyu beaf, not THE 50/50 mix between wagyu and other cow breeds you find in other...More
