Went here for dinner. A small homey place with lots of tea kettles and salt & pepper shakers on display. We were told the special was cod on a bun that night so we both ordered it. It came with a side of soup, salad or fries. It was raining that day so we both had the soup. It was tomato bacon. All was so delicious. Really fresh, definitely hit the spot. Our server even talked us into dessert. I had the chocolate silk which was a chocolate covered brownie and my mom had the hummingbird cake which I can’t remember now what was in it except banana but she said it was great. Very friendly service. We went back for breakfast a couple days later and lovely service again. Definitely recommend stopping in when in the area.

The staff did a wonderful job of taking care of a group of 9 friends out for a day of touring in our Miatas. We pre-booked and got our own room with tables ready for our arrival. Service was friendly and quick. The food was very well prepared and well presented. Everyone's order was correct and we got back on the road on schedule.

We went around lunchtime for early lunch/late brunch. The fries are really good as was the rest of our meals. The staff are friendly, attentive and no long waits. Reasonably priced and pleasant atmosphere.

Addison's Restaurant has a sign in front stating they are open Wednesday to Sunday. When we went on Wednesday they were not open. We had verified by both the website and voice message beforehand, that they are open on Wednesdays.
Later we checked the voice message again which was changed, stating the changed days of the week they are open. It was too late.
This restaurant's information is too unreliable, so it is best not to plan to go there.

The One star isn’t necessarily true as we never stayed.
On our way back from Golden Lake today. Checked out the restaurant on my phone. Menu and pricing looked great. At the restaurant the menu had been changed. Our average 2 egg breakfast went from $8, $12, still no coffee. Coffee additional $2.50 per cup.
Coffee was a nice big cup, but $14.50 for average breakfast (X2) ridiculous. Food prices have risen, but not that bad. Time to update your online menu. Disappointed.

If you followed the square site as posted you would have seen the updated menus and prices..some sites feed off the others and never get updated...not in my control. I can guarantee that my prices are in line with the area... may I remind you we are not down town in the cities where prices can be cheaper. Bacon per case has doubled, eggs and bread and dairy are up 35% as well as potatoess. And thats just this past year!. I dont know where you shop but 3 bags of milk here is almost $8.00 And if you did stay you would have known that coffee refills are free and potions are large. .. no one ever leaves hungry. So next time you go some where to dine.. look at your surroundings, prices differ everywhere... and be respectful the the times we are in... and to the people who serve you....

We enjoyed lunch at this super family restaurant. Watching the size of the meals being served we decided to split an entree of quesadillas and fries. The food was plentiful and the service friendly.

I will return for the Fish and Chips! Large portions and delicious. Friendly service. Though we waited a bit, the food we ate was well worth it.

There aren't many restaurants in the area. Luckily, Addison's Restaurant was opened late on a Sunday evening. The restaurant is a bit tired looking and has a musty smell. However, the food was delicious and the service was excellent. Also, we didn't have to wait very long to get our food. Our teenage kids enjoyed their meals as well. While the menu isn't extensive, there is something for everyone. Worth a stop when going through Kaladar!

It’s not amazing. But it isn’t crap either.
The service was typical mom&pop service (good and direct). The food wasn’t amazing and that’s why I gave it 3 circles. It wasn’t horrible, but I found it on the bland side. Nothing I ate jumped out at me unfortunately. BUT, the coziness of this restaurant is quite spectacular! It’s just so homey and feels almost like being at home sitting around the kitchen table with the family, which was awesome!!
The card game cards DEFINITELY need to be cleaned!! It’s a fun game, but we all commented about catching something from those cards!
We will be back for sure!! Thank you for a warm and cozy experience!

We stopped in for a mid week lunch on our way through the area. Lots of customers coming and going, which is a good thing. We get a little nervous when trying out a place we've never been before, and we're the only people in the joint.
Fast friendly service, a decent reuben sandwich and a spinach salad with chicken.
It's worth a visit.

I have stopped to eat here many times and now also go out of my way to go here. Wonderful specials, great meals. If it is a special date make sure to make a reservation!

Breakfast - we both had the special - two eggs, hashbrowns, toast and sausage or bacon. Great, hearty breakfast and super coffee - rich & flavourful!
Dinner - we ordered the Bruschetta to start - oh wow! Superb, flavourful, we argued over who would clean the plate!
I had the Chicken Florentine with O'Briens Potatoes, the chicken was succulent, the feta and spinach stuffing was delicious.
Mike had the roast beef special - wow - did you see that size of the slice? I didn't taste his dinner, but I'm sure it was tasty - he didn't leave any crumbs behind!
We were too full for dessert!

Have been here a couple of times. The food was tasty. Went with a ladies group and we all got very good service also went with my grandson and service was also good.

If you are travelling along Hwy. 41 and have not stopped here, you should. We were travelling with our grandson and he had the kid's meal which was very reasonable. The grilled cheese was done "right". I had their small spinach mandarin salad and it was more than adequate. But I did spend a lot of my time stealing fries from my grandson. Finally somebody who does fresh cut fries!! My husband had their reuben and he was very happy with it and he also got the fries so he was quite happy. Very friendly service and just a good value for your money place. They have added a bar area and patio, so I am sure they are quite popular with the locals. Really, you gotta eat here!

We routinely travel highway 41 and stopped for the first time for a meal at Addison's. It was fantastic. Enjoyed the decor and playing trivia while we waited for our supper. The wraps we ordered were huge and delicious. One with a lovely salad and the other with so many fries...too much food (took some home!) Great service from the young guy....very pleasant. We will be back!
