During a quick overnight stay in Evora for business, my local contacts reccomended this tiny restaurant in the downtown area of Evora, the capital of the Alentejo region and home of the legendary roots of portuguese gastronomy. The place that accomodates not more than 10...or 12 people at a time and all that magic happens in there is incredibly delivered by only two people, Mr Domingos, a smily and resourceful attendant and his wife in the kitchen. The menu changes frequently according to the availability of fresh seasonal ingredients and will surprise by it's frugality and delicious preparations that comes out of their tiny kitchen even the most skeptic guests.More
