This is an excellent place to taste the traditional (and also more modern) food from Alentejo. Two reasons why the rating is a 4, instead of a 5: - The place can be a bit noisy; - The annoying practice (unfortunately quite common in Portugal)...More

Very traditional restaurant with a huge choice of dishes, nice decoration and furniture, good efficient service, enormous wine list at very reasonable prices.

Small but cozy, ideal for groups, the starters were great, we had cabrito and presas de porco preto, superb! Try a Fidalgo for dessert!

Lovely restaurant not too big or too small. Excellent menu and the food is executed with great care. Very helpful waitstaff that completes the whole experience. Highly recommended for its ambience, food, low noise level warm vibes all around

I asked for advice to try local dishes and had a lovely eh dish for starter and black pork tenderloin with migas for main. Delicious and filling accompanied by a great red wine recommended by the waiter

It was my second visit to this restaurant and although more than 2 years passed, I can say it only got better. Food, amazing. Staff, fantastic. Traditional, good for any occasion. Don't miss it!

Unfortunately we did not take pictures of our meal in this restaurant. But it was a great experience. Best meat so far in Portugal and a very friendly staff. It is definitely worth a visit.
