If you are aiming to taste high end and local gastronomic dishes here you can find some excellent options that include not so common options, like boar cooked in different succulent styles. Starters are also a must. Other options also seemed amazing, but don't forget...More

We walked in without a reservation and the restaurant was booked, BUT Paulo and everyone else made it happen for us to have an amazing experience. In order for us to have dinner and be able for them to turn the table in 2 hours,...More

The best portuguese meal we had in our entire holiday in Portugal. Book ahead. Had garlic prawns for appetizer. Iberian black pork cheeks cooked in a very tasty gravy, lightly herbed with coriander. Wonderful portuguese dessert - honey and almond based. Good wine selection.

Fabulous restaurant. Food is amazing and the wine list is extensive. Very reasonably priced. Portions are quite large so I would recommend sharing. The roasted lamb is the best I have ever tasted. Ambiance is great and the staff were just as wonderful.

We had high expectations regarding this restaurant as it had been highly recommended by friends. After our dinner there, we find that the recommendation was undeserved. Make no mistake, the restaurant is ok, but far, very far, from being exceptional, which was what we were...More

The quality of the food and the service is upper class but the price is low to mid range. Locally inspired food but with a special touch. Highly recommended

Out of all the restaurants that we experienced in Portugal, some very good, some average, no bad ones, this was the best. We chose it based on recommendations from other travelers and the usual rating sites. The food was delicious, regional, with some dishes that...More

This is one of the more "formal" (but local) restaurants that we ate at in Portugal (the rest have been more rustic, small specialized mom and pop restaurants). Service was good, food was pretty good but we preferred the small mom & pop restaurants more...More
