A friendly waiter in a small & cosy restaurant. For Starters we ordered 'Queso Ferret' which is melted cheese + compote (jam) served with small tostas. This was 'different & nice'. Mains were black pig cheeks served with fried sliced potatoes & apple sauce. The...cheeks were tender & tasted lovely. Personally I would have preferred oven/baked potatoes & not fried ones (not a great fan of chips). The apple sauce was nice but would have preferred it warm - overall a very nice dish. The best was saved for last! The dessert 'bola maca'. Eventhough the waiter described it as apple pie it was more of an apple & walnut cake with some icecream. It was HEAVEN IN A CAKE. Moist apple flavour with chunks of walnuts-10/10. I asked for recipe but was told it's restaurant secret 😉🍰 Total bill 47€ - Overall a very satisfying lunch.More

We decided to share and selected the stuffed peppers and calamari for starters and the pig cheeks as main and a mixed salad. Plenty of delicious food for the 2 of us. Service was friendly and efficient. We will go back

Amazing fish dish and very subtle taste! Friendly staff. The butterfly shrimp with honey and garlic was very good.

We were early and they were just getting open for evening service. We were the only tourists there so early int he season, everyone else was a local. The black pork cheeks were mouth watering. Very reasonable prices. Loved that the building is set into...the Aquaduct.More
