Had lunch here today on the special €5.50 deal, chicken fillet with mushroom sauce, rice & salad, it was lovely! My husband had the chicken kebab which wasn't on the deal but he wasn't disappointed! Lovely food, good service, the waiter could just do with a bit more good customer service etiquette 😊

Wonderful Fado and great food served in the very special atmosphere of the old theatre. I will especially recommend the tasty Cataplana. The excellent service and thoughtfulness og the staff made me fell like a princess.

We were lured into this place by a guy on the street. Enticed by the opportunity to hear some Fado, we took the bait and entered. We were seated at a balcony table and promptly approached. The music was good and the food decent. However, one crazy waiter tainted our whole experience. If you want a truly Portuguese experience, you... More

This is a former theatre, and as such is a really atmospheric space to have a meal in. They have a live band on certain nights, and you can book a table looking out onto the street below. The waiters are friendly enough, and the service is efficient, but the food alas, was only average, after the build up of... More

Had a lunch there, were disappointed,we tried the chicken and the fish both were cooked far too much almost burnt and the chips seemed as if they were warmed up from the previous day.Staff were very friendly.

We visited the restaurant on the 5/10. My partner had the chicken cataplana whilst I had the surf and turf. Both meals arrived quickly and were if an excellent standard with my steak being cooked perfectly medium rare and my partners meal was also of a high standard. During our meal a table on one of the balconies became available... More

This is a great place to sample Fado Music. The performance made the evening. The food is fine, but not outstanding. I ordered Leg of Lamb, which was quite good, but it tasted more like beef than lamb. The service was very good and they did give our group complimentary port at the end of the evening.

What a find this place was. Tucked away upstairs in an old theatre, the guy downstairs was handing out flyers for a set lunch - always dubious with these types of things but how wrong was I! Well worth EUR5.50.
