We had a meal here which was ok, but nothing special. The staff were very nice, however the manager arrived and seemed to engage everyone telling them about his Icelandic background and seemed to blame us personally for Brexit. Found it a perfunctory arrangement and felt uncomfortable that we couldn't be left alone to have a quiet meal. If you... More

We were on an all-inclusive holiday in the area, when we felt bored of engorging on seafood only - just wanted to bite into some chicken and beef/lamb. Being on this side of Portugal, it was quite difficult to obtain halal meats, so we were glad when we found this place via Uncle G'gle. For the halal menu, we were... More

We were attracted into this restaurant by the friendly Scottish lady on the door, and the well-priced Tourist Menu. The décor leaves a little to be desired but the service was good and the food was nice and very good value. We did have to ask specifically for the Tourist Menu though, as we were initially greeted with the standard... More

Persuaded to go in my tout outside (Christina) Although food was ok, it certainly was nothing special and service was diabolical. 40 minutes from the first of the group of four receiving his main to course to the last of us getting our main. Whilst we were waiting a chap poked his head through the door and asked if they... More

Wanted to try portugese food so had portugese cod and piri piri chicken, bottle of house white wine, cheesecake and creme caramel for a cost of 36 euros. Would have preferred to have had the piri piri chicken spicier as I had asked if it was hot and was told it was medium but felt it was rather mild. Suggest... More

Here for a couple of days in November to find most places closed for winter, however this was an unexpected bonus as we were left with limited options that we otherwise would not have known about. Ranias! What a find! Billed as a Portuguese restaurant we decided to try it . We opted for the touristic menu and were not... More

We visited this place twice, The Nepalese guy that works there is hilarious and his wife. The staff were great non rushed environmental. They offer a Halal Menu, just ask. The first night I had peri peri chicken which was cooked fresh and tasted delicious. Cost bracket for one person is around €15-25 easily but great service and very welcoming... More
