I agree with many of the comments from others - the owners have been running (and working) this restaurant forever! Chicken and fish bbq'd in the old fashioned way over hot coals. Very popular with locals and tourists. Simple restaurant and an outside esplanade to watch the world go by, as you eat, if you don't want to sit inside!... More

Been going there for years My kids LOVE that place.. The owner is 1000 years old still cooking...and his wife, not much younger, collects the cash... Best chicken, soup, and real potato fries... best food and great house wine for the money. I highly recommend this place...

Came across this little restaurant by chance and from the outside looked very plain. However, once inside the reception from the staff was faultless and the food special. The menu choice is not extensive but what is available was super. First night we had the chicken which is exceptional and very filling. I would recommend the Fried Squid which I... More

Having read a few positive reviews about this restaurant, we decided to pay a visit during our summer vacation day trip to Faro. The name of the place is just perfect (At the end of the world), as it is a bit tricky to find it but once you get there you won't regret it. We sat outside (luckily there... More

I dined here on a recent trip to Faro, we had steak, chicken and a litre of house red for less than 20 euros and it was really excellent. Food was simply prepared, service attentive but not intrusive and it definitely was one of the best meals we had on our trip. Highly recommended.

We ate at this restaurant and also had a takeout on another night. It is simple, inexpensive and the service is efficient and friendly. It seems to be a family run restaurant with the elderly man others have referred to grilling chicken and other items with skills honed over half a lifetime. The chicken was simply superbly cooked and when... More

Typical Portuguese restaurant, looks simple but cooking with passion. The chicken from the grill we ordered was absolutly the best grilled chicken we ever tried.. And the price...low...really low...We had dinner with 8 people and paid incl wines 83 euro....

This restaurant used to be the best in Faro with a grill at the front and a gentleman who had been working there for 50 years or so, producing grills, the like of which I had never tasted. The fish was wonderful. BUT it has obviously changed hands - possibly because the chef has retired. NOW: the food is still... More
