Call it common sense, ALWAYS ALWAYS CHECK YOUR BILL. We were there in low, out of season before the season had begun & know body was very busy. The food wasn't that great very average I thought. When I questioned the inflated bill the waitress tried to put it over she didn't understand English, which was utter nonsense. she understand... More

We should have seen the warning signs when our chosen apertives took absolutely ages to be served and then were not quite as described on the drinks list. The food was alright taste wise, but zero marks for presentation. Instantly forgettable - a 10 euro pizza would have been a better choice.

It's a busy restaurant, so get in early. They had seabass on the board so thought I would try it. Excellent dish, fish nice and moist and very tasty. Wine was only €10 a bottle, so good value.

This was our first meal after arriving in Praia da Rocha. Service wasn't very quick but we did find that was in a few other places too. Our Chicken Piri Piri was perfectly good, the place was comfortable and nothing went wrong. From reading a handful of other reviews I suspect we did quite well and found this restaurant right... Unfortunately swayed by prices on menu compared to other restaurants nearby for portugese food and can say that the food was simply terrible. Ordered the local fish soup which turned out to be a vegetable soup with small cubes of fish which could have been from a packet or tin - really poor. Grilled sea bass ordered tasted as if... More

Went in here as always looked busy, we went in early when it only had a few people in and after ordering our food sat waiting for almost 40 minutes for our food!! Not sure if it's a ploy to get you to buy more drinks but waiting that long for a Lasagne and ribs? The wife thought her meal... More

I'll keep this brief. Don't bother stopping at this place. Based on the strip, it is always going to get business, but location is about the only thing positive in this restaurant. In short: The local white wine "wasn't available" but the expensive options were very strongly "encouraged" Food took an ETERNITY to arrive despite not being very busy at... More

Came here for lunch one afternoon. Was very very quiet, practically empty, but service still very slow. The waiter was extremely odd and unsettling. He didn't say anything just kind of crept up on you and said nothing until you prompted him?!? Food was below average considering the 60 mins it took to cook it. Wouldn't rush back

Waiter was rude, food tasted like had been frozen and reheated in plastic. They charged us for bread that they offered to us and each pack of butter. Don't go here.
