Smooth, rich, and creamy...this may not be precisely Italian gelato, but it certainly ranks up there with the best! A wide variety of flavors in a fun setting...the most difficult part is choosing just one or two. Fortunately they are liberal with samples to help you. A must-do on a sunny afternoon (or otherwise) in Cascais.

Wonderfully made, and very friendly staff. That said, the charge you for it! Starting at € 2.90 for their smallest ice-cream size they aren't exactly friendly priced. But they can do it, with their reputation. Their flavours are good but conservative. No rosemary-mint-vanilla or honey-cashew-caramel on the menu :)

If you haven't had a chance to visit other Santini locations in Porto or Lisbon, don't leave the area without treating yourself to a delicious scoop or two of a refreshing frozen cream to delight the taste buds. Cascais is a nice location to buy a scoop and journey outside on a sunny day and eat your frozen treasure while... More

Hmmmm, found Santini. The place is nice, clean and fresh looking. The staff is friendly and the ice cream, well: is ice cream. Have no idea what all the fuss (best ice cream in the world???) is all about.

My Portuguese boyfriend really loves this place, but to me it's just an average gelato shop. I'm American and I think of ice cream as being much creamier and with a smoother texture. This to me it is gelato, not ice cream and I was not all that impressed with the flavors. I've been here a few times and always... More

Expectations were high. Everyone in the Lisbon area is recommending Santini's. There is always a huge queue, people are waiting 15 minutes or even much longer in the summertime. Must be one of the best ice cream shop in Portugal. I thought... Big disappointment when I had my first cup of Santini's ice cream. The flavors were too artificial and... More

Being from Cascais, I go to Santini any of the year and I can tell that the quality is guaranteed! I love strawberry with pineapple!
