We were there in the middle of our "bicas" ride. The wind was so strong that we had to walk with our bikes to the nearest building in order to heat up and to feel our faces and hands again. The atmosphere and waiters, serving and service - everything shows you that you're in the high-class restaurant. We were not... More

We had lunch at O Faroliero last year when we visited Portugal. It was so exceptional that we had lunch there again this year. The seafood is so fresh and needs very little by way of seasoning to make the dishes so delightful. The barnacles are really good--we have never had them anywhere else. The prawns are so sweet and... We hired a driver to take us around Sintra and Cascais. We visited the Castles in Sintra and stopped here for lunch. This is an amazing fish restaurant, if you love fish. Possibly our best meal in Portugal.

We were taken here by our private tour guide. Two of us had the rice with seafood (lobster, shrimp and clams) and a third had the lobster curry. The rice dish was bland, a few pieces of lobster chunks, several pieces of shrimp, four tiny clams and a number of pieces of lobster body that would require picking tiny pieces... More

Second visit ,hopeing the food would be as good and more people dining. Both objectives achieved, but totally ripped of on the price of the fish.Charged by the kilo,my fish which was no bigger than normal when fillited, was €39.Absolute rip off. Completely ruined the otherwise nice dining experience.

A most wonderful dining experience. The fresh seafood, we had sole meunière, was presented in elegant French table service. With great wine recommended by the sommelier, this was the best lunch of our 3 week vacation. Highly recommend!!

Excellent food and beautiful sunset. The service was attentive and friendly. Good seafood list but my vegetarian husband had limited choice.

The restaurant and a nice view and its very elegant with a great service. The "Peixe ao Sal" is very nice and we recommend it for sure. We recommend to book it in advance. The price is expensive but a good money for value.

Thank JDNunes
