Quaint small restaurant that serves tasty food. Gildhead Bream was exceptional as was the Dom Pedro Cod for two - great flavours with vegetables. The house red was the best we have had to date. Staff were pleasant and helpful and message for booking was answered in minutes. Worth visiting if you can get in!

This hidden gem offers a wonderful set menu of soup, fish / pork and expresso. All very nice with lots of veg / salad. We really enjoyed it.

You must book. It is a very small intimate restaurant and we were very well looked after. Do get there for when they open so you can choose your table. They were all reserved and people coming in to ask for a table had to be turned away. The food was excellent, I had steak, my husband fish. The wine... More

I booked a table for lunch as this little place gets busy. During the week they have a great value lunch menu, soup (spinach in my case) a main (codfish mixed with egg and rice plus a side salad) a pudding (almond tart) and a beer all for €8.50, my wife had octopus with rice, a salad and a beer.... Booked a few days ahead. Host charming and most helpful. Enjoyed seafood rice with countless baby clams. Excellent value and will definitely return!

After a week in Cascais and searching tripadvisor for places to eat I came across this little place. Had great reviews, but we'd been to places with great reviews previously and they really didn't live up to them. However, Dom Pedro did! It's off the beaten track up a side lane ( across the main square from the Irish pub... More

We arrived just before opening and very soon realised that this is a hugely popular restaurant in Cascais. It's tiny with only 4 outside tables, and incredibly busy for the very fact the food s excellent. We were fortunate enough to get an outside table, and made to feel very welcome by a lovely waiter who spoke brilliant English. The... More

My dad and I ate here for dinner and the food was lovely. My dad had the salmon and I had the rump steak. Both were excellent. The waiters were friendly and helpful and very tolerant of my broken Portuguese. One tip - you will need a reservation as they turned many people away while we were there. I would... More
