We had a really lovely evening mingling with the owner and soaking up the atmosphere of this cosy and extremely tasty restaurant. You will need to book. The tapas is delicious and the wine compliments the food perfectly. Thank you and evening we will long remember.

This little place is a bit off the 'see to be seen' track of restaurants in Cascais which, at least for me, is a huge plus. Miguel, the owner, a Brazilian living in Portugal for a long time hosts the guests to the few but delicious alternatives. The salmon ceviche is legendary. And don't you dare not to try the... More

The bicycle above the door looked interesting, so to Diniz for dinner we went. The tapas restaurant is small but with a warm welcome. We ordered the local wine which was very good for the price. Not sure what or how much to order...our host suggested that we simply order two tapas, see how we feel and then order one... More

We had a great lunch, the food was very good actually. But we left the restaurant with a bit of strange feeling about what happened with the ordering for drinks and we regret that we didn't openly inquire about it at the place. My girlfriend ordered a white wine, and so did I. 2 wine. No questions on glasses, bottles... More

A real practical joke! We were being messing around. Two ridiculous tapas for 14,40 euros (7,20 each). One of them were two tiny pieces of meat and was like the sole of a shoe. Avoid it!

We landed in Portugal and took the train to Cascais where we had rented an AirBnB. We were starving and it was late by the time we arrived to Cascais; most rests seemed closed. Without internet and guidance, we simply went for the first cool-looking restaurant on this street. Lucky for us, this was Dom Diniz. We had a blast.... More

On our first visit to Cascais which is a wonderful place we came across this small tapas deli as we searched for something away from the tourist traps. We were not disappointed certainly as a vegetarian myself. Lots of excellent affordable local food and drink, a lovely atmosphere, and pleasant staff. A great find!

Highly recommend stopping off in this wonderful wine bar. If it's just for drinks or if you can stay for some food it is an amazing little place. Staff are always brilliant, friendly and accommodating every time we visit. Absolute must if you are in Cascais!!
