Correio looks almost like a tavern. It is small and noisy with an old fashion typical portuguese service. But the food.... is just delicious. Portions are very abondant and everything is very well cooked.. Absolutely delicious in a remote place of cascais

We ordered the hot soup as a starter, but it was ice cold and had no flavour. The one main was the small mackerel with rice. The rice was ice cold as well and was old. The other main was fish in cream sauce and...had potatoes. The dish look disgusting. The sauce was not creamy at all, it was a water sauce. The fish was slimy. It is unbelievable that this type of food is served to people. The fish with cream sauce was EUR12.50, which is a rip off for such disgusting food. The food was a disgrace! The waitress was quite rude, and interaction with her left a bad taste! The only good thing about this place was the waiter, he was very friendly and actually cared why the food was untouched. We tipped him, because he was good with us. Do not waste your money on this place, as they serve old disgusting food!More

Excellent food and service, staff very friendly. Always a good sign when the locals dine there. Exceeded expectations and dined there twice during our Trip. We had a party of twelve including children and all were catered for. Appears to be a family run local...restaurant which me and my family highly recommend. 👍More

It still serves good Portuguese dishes. The service is good and prices are quite reasonable. The only negative thing to register is the lack of air conditioning and on the day my family and I went there, it was extremely hot... something to seriously consider...changing!More

Took my family to Correio in Areia and ordered the pastéis de bacalhau (cod) and the arroz de grelos but sadly the experience was well below par! The pastéis were very dry and tasted strange, the rice was simply tasteless and not even with added...salt it recovered. Service mediocre. Old & tired setting. Will not be returning, very poor experience!More

This the place where locals go. Close to Guincho beach, here you will find typical Portuguese food, with a very local atmosphere. Been here multiple times and food is always good, with very affordable prices.

Tasteless fish, soggy batter and over-cooked rice for one dish and tough lamb chops for the other. Service below par. Shall not be returning.

Found this place almost By accident. Simple down to earth restaurant - with excellent filetes de peixe, mexilhao bulhao pato, etc recommended if you look for quality simplicity or simply quality.

We had dinner twice in this little restaurant and were not disappointed, The food is good and the prices are reasonable. Following the suggestion of a local friend, we had the fried dory, which was excellent; the rice with fish or mussels comes in a...huge bowl (enough for two). The house wine was decent and the waiters friendly enough, considering the local standars. A dinner for three costed us less than 50 euros.More

I think this place now goes under the the name of Tosca Tasca (or vice versa) ...... to find it, drive from Cascais to Guincho Beach and then turn sharp right - Areia is signed Just past the camping site, turn left and follow the...road into the village .... the place you are looking for is just after a larger (yellow frontage?) restaurant called Carlotta or somesuch ...... if you get to the church on your left, you've gone 50 yards too far :-) ..... phew!! There are 2/3 tables just in front with further tables inside and a small blackboard menu This isn't remotely smart, but everything is cooked fresh and served with a smile and really good value, and the sandwiches are tasty too It became one of our favourite places to have lunchMore
