Very nice place and great hospitality, food is awesome and not too expensive. Recommended but try to come around 7pm, later is a bit crowded.

This was our first time at restaurant and it was lovely. A cute little place with excellent food and dessert! The service was good and the seating was comfortable. The chairs are small bar stools but they work for me. I strongly recommend this to...anyone.More
Indeed it serves typical tasca food...some days better than others but the worst part is it has very snobby guests..the Cascais scum type of guests. Its unfortunate when you encounter people like that in this special Village but unfortunately it is the majority of the...Portuguese locals are like this. The place also has very uncomfortable stools so after a while your back becomes soar from sitting. Also no outside light comes in the restaurant.More
Dinner with the family in this small but quaint old fashioned restaurant. Well received, Interesting Conversation, Great Service, Totally affordable.
Amazing tradicional Portuguese restaurant/grill. Family runned, 3 generations working toghether. Simple and fresh, everything tastes real and honest, huge porcions of grilled goodnes. Everything made from the scratch. And the bread!!! IIt s worth to go just for the bread... The real deal... Cant wait...to go back... Ps- way to cheap (4 people, to much food, €63... )More
After many good recommendations we decided to go there for dinner. We got salted ribs and the cod fish smelled not fresh or it was a portugese flavor but not tasty for us.
Had the soup of the day (green bean soup), fish fillet with tomato rice and cheesecake+lemon cake. All this with the white wine of the house. Everything was fine, the service was especially friendly. Would definitelt recommend if you are looking for good value for...your money.More
This restaurant is situated in Areia. They serve Portuguese food which is well cooked with generous portions. The owner has his own pace, so dont be in a hurry, but his kindness makes up for it. Well patronized by locals. I have visited several times...with friends and family and all dishes have been excellent and the bill is always a pleasant bonus.More
If you really want to feel you have experienced old Portugal, old habits then O Biscoito is a must. The food is quite tasty, cheap, the ambience is cool and old style not to mention its right in the middle of a typical old style...village with the small church on the side (ignore the new houses on the fringes just a human thing i.e. if we are not building we are not living :)) Rare place so close to the Atlantic Coast where you can still get Grilled Fish on or shell fish on the cheap, small or large steaks, tomato rice and Mummys old style chunky chips and this coming from an Organic Vegan. P.S. you will not believe the price of a nice cold beer, the wine and don't forget to indulge in a home made chocolate mouse .More
Typical place wit all kinds of clients, sympatic.A familydriven place with all employees stayng for decades. very close to the Qta de Marinha golf and horse system.
This is a little family owned restaurant at Cascais, where you can have very good fishes to eat, at honest prices. Great green wine too and not expensive.
We had dinner here for a low price. We had the spare-ribs and steak with mushrooms. The portions where big but missed some flavour. Good place for a fast and cheap dinner.
Tuck just off of the main street through the village of Areia, this restaurant doesn't look anything from the outside and is very simply set out on the inside. That is where the negatives end, the staff and food, quality and portion size are absolutely...excellent. Fish, steaks and stews all traditionally cooked to an excellent standard. The starters get the taste buds watering for the main course, I would however say, don't eat to much for starters as the mains are huge. Again as with all the restaurants in this, food heaven, of a village. The food is of excellent quality and cooked to perfection. The wines and excellent, I can recommend the house white and red, if this wines were on a menu in Ireland they would be 3 times the price, at least.More
I've been going to this place for ten years and its a great place to go with friends. It has a buzzy atmosphere and the staff always have fun joking around with you. Prices are reasonable and their piano de porco (ribs) is divine and...squid some of the best around. Do not miss this spot for some authentic portuguese food.More
Biscoito is a very simple portuguese Tasca that will tick all the boxes of what you expect from a Portuguese restaurant. Athmosphere, Food quality, size of portions, fast and friendly service and great value for money. If you're feeling like meat, go for the undeniably...best Piano (pork chops) in town, otherwise bet on the fish/seafood - Seabass, grilled squid, the prawns, the clams. Fernando is the head waiter, he has been there for years, and he will do what he does best - taking good care of you as soon as you enter the door! My favourite time to go is late afternoon after the beach, to match the great food with some cold beers.More
