We read a review and thought we would try it. The food was great, meat cooked to perfection and great salad and puddings. We had cheese as part of the cover which was wonderful. The staff are lovely and very patient with our lack of Portuguese. The prices are very reasonable. We went twice it was so good, it's a... More

We went here off the recommendation of our cab driver, and we were very thankful for the recommendation! The staff were very friendly and the food was amazing, so good that we went back again. I strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for a non touristy type place that has top quality food for a very good price.

The restaurant is quite basic but the kitchen is open and the meat is quite good and big dishes. The parking on weekdays us difficult but it's worth the hassle as it is great value for money.

Excelent quality meat. The best there is as far as grilled meat is concerned. The meat optitions inclued game (wild hog and deer), pork and sausage. There is also some fish dishes (limited in quantity) and there are also excellent.

Good for grilled bore meat or cow .good for family dinners or even weddings. The price is average. For 15 euros/person you can eat a good portion of various meats with wine and deserts.

Really enjoyed being amongst a lot of local Portuguese people, eating a lot of well prepared meat. Nice wines (Periquita). Still try to get used that a lot of starters are put on the table without asking. Just don't take and the starters will not be charged, but it seems to be customary in Portugal to put them on the... Great place for the carnivores of this world: plenty of assorted kinds of meat for reasonable prices. They call the kid (young goat) lamb on the menu, which is a pity for those who would like to try, or may be it is a ruse not to put you off, unless you don't like lamb either I suppose. If in...
