We were given a choice of this restaurant or another in Sintra. Lucky for us we chose Pao de Trigo and was rewarded with some of the best Portugese food we've had since landing in Lisbon 5 days ago. We ordered grilled octopus, grilled sardines, and grilled black sausage. Our friends ordered the seafood stew while our guide ordered the... More

We enjoyed sharing a plate of sardines and having eaten so much fish decided to go for the lamb cutlets and the spare ribs - both of which were delicious - excellent wine and although there was only three puddings to choose from the two we picked were simple but good. The waiter was welcoming and the chef came out... More

Incredible family restaurant with the best seafood dishes I have ever had. We had several dishes and all were great. The seafood rice dish is incredible and the octopus dish was very good because it was soft not tough and chewy. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The grilled octpous was delicious. Just like the fresh cheese among the starters. The waiter was attentive and worked very hard to serve all customers by himself. He also spoke great English which is rare in Portugal. The bill was 45 EUR for two, but we did not drink wine. I recommend the place!

The restaurant has many TripAdvisor stickers on its windows so we thought it would be a good election but we were quite disappointed. The service has been very very slow. It took 15-20 to get anything to drink (even water), no bread nor appetizers to make us wait (> 40 minutes) to get our meals. The food was not so... More

An enjoyable evening and great food The seafood and rice arrived in a huge pan and was a masterpiece to enjoy. The sangria was refreshing and light. The restaurant was welcoming and cosy with wooden beams and ceiling. Staff efficient.

It's worth stopping in this small restaurant on your way back from Cabo da Roca on RN247. The food was great and the service warm. You can ask for menu in French. The waiters speak French, English and Spanish. Original rustic decoration all around. You've got the possibility to eat outside but the road passes quite close. One small bad... More

The title says it all. Meat was not cooked, waitor forgot to bring us a dish that we ordered, we found a mosquito in the oil. In general a very bad experience in this restaurant.
