Nice restaurant, the decor is authentic. The menu is simple and the food is very delicious. I had the fried cod in tomato sauce. Even it's covered with the sauce, the skin is still crispy and the meat is soft. Accompanied by creamy spinach, very...More

Did some research as we wanted to try piri piri chicken in Portugal. Went because of the good reviews and it was the tastiest chicken we had ever tasted and we have eaten lots of chicken . The chicken was not marinated, just a rotisserie...More

Good restaurant for lunch. The chicken was very tasty, and the creamed spinach was outstanding. Good wine list to choose from and the service was very good.

Had an excellent meal with my friends at bonjardim! The chicken was soo flavoursome and all the accompaniments were amazing! We had French fries, salad, creamed spinach and rice! So cheap and cheerful for an absolutely delicious meal!

First of all, I’m not a chicken lover, but this one is really to die for! From the Brazilian rice to the “esparregado” is always a fantastic experience that I advice to every traveler who wants to try a bit of old school Lisbon since...More

I first visited Bomjardim in 1979 when it was just a local joint. I now visit every time I am in Lisbon. Some things have changed: their success has led them to expand from a single space to at least 2 and perhaps 3 so...More

Location: In the touristy part of town, not far from the lift. They're on a dude street so it's quieter, too. The place: No idea what the inside looks like since I ate outside. Their terrace is fairly large. The goods: I ordered a glass...More

I requested piri piri chicken and instead received regular chicken and was told “There’s piri piri sauce on the table.” (The piri piri sauce is sort of a bland chili oil. Not the same experience as eating piri piri chicken.) The plain chicken was very...More

A pending candidate to become a World Heritage Site,
