This place was recommended to us a welcome change of pace from typical Iberian Cuisine. We all had the roast chicken and it was excellent. We enjoyed it so much that that this was the one place we ate twice during our two week trip....More

On a rainy night we wandered in the Chiado restaurant district and landed at Bonjardin; this place had been recommended for it roasted chicken. Wow! The chicken was delicious - fresh, juicy, tasty. Our servers were excellent and attentive. One of the best chicken dinners.

The chicken soup is simple and magnificent. Do order differnt side dishes - they are good for sharing. The chicken is great, a bit salty on the oitside, but you can always remove skin.

Had a delicious meal here. The chicken was wonderful. Need to order sides with it. The sides are quite substantial so will do more than 1 person.

After a bad experience with a "local favorite" restaurant who did awful chicken, I was skeptical. But this place doors great chicken, cooked on site rotisserie style. Shrimp also excellent. Fries crispy. Chicken soup yummy. Overall a good meal, served hot.
