Was recommended to try this restaurant close to our hotel but off a side street. Attentive yet unhurried service, majors in seafood but I chose grilled lamb chops which were excellent. Good wholesome food that won't break the bank.

We visited early evening with our daughter and the waiter was very friendly. The Serrano ham was good quality and we enjoyed the monkfish and shrimp rice (a two portion easily fed 3 of us)

I had great food here! Pork with mussels, Alentejo style. Also good salads, dessert and excellent coffee. Very friendly staff, clientele mostly local people, very friendly and easygoing, but nice and clean.

I had the grilled tuna with Portuguese "migas" and was quite good. The "ameijoas à bolhão pato" were also wonderfully cooked with good quality clams. For dessert, a "baba de camelo" (condensed milk-based dessert) chilled to perfection at a near freezing temperature.

Lively and buzzing local restaurant clearly popular with locals and tourists alike. Serving predominantly seafood - swordfish, sea bass, octopus etc. Nothing fancy just simple wholesome food served with vegetables/salad and potatoes. Good house wine. Prices very reasonable at around 10 -15 euros for a...More

We went 2 times to this restaurant. First time we had fish and it was really excellent. Second time we had meat and it was very busy, when the meat was served it was not hot anymore. So a bit of mixed feelings here.
