Top notch but extremely informal food in one of Lisbon’s top location in Principe Real. Embaixada is an iconic building with a welcoming terrace. Loved the “peixinhos da horta”, the croquetes and the shrimps for starters; quite impressed by the “à Brás” for main and...the meal was topped with the amazing “bolo de bolacha”.More

In Covid times, it was a relief to enjoy two meals here. The food is beautiful, both to the eyes and to the palate. The service is competent and friendly. The place, or should I say the palace is charming. We had the pleasure to...have a marvellous variation of bacalhau à Brás - after the awful experience at Mr Avlilez's Páteo it was a relief to know that there are still chefs who loved their métier more than they love success and/or their bank account -, and the most delicious sirloin, as well as the saumon and green salad. Let's not forget the delightful padrón peppers and the deliciou potato wedges. Odisseia white wine served at the right temperature was the cherry on the cake.More

Amazing place, nice Atmosphere and excellent service. The staff was super friendly and made a extraordinary experience in Gin tasting and providing a quite extensive explanation about this suggestion. Food was fine but very remarkable dessert from “the cookie and Cake Portugal” which was one...of the best “Bolo de Bolacha” I have tasted. I will sure go back when in Lisbon again. Big Thank you To Mariana who provided a wonderful experience.More

Genuinely dont know where to start...found this absolute gem last week on our trip to Lisbon. On entering, we didnt make any reservation so tried our luck and they accommodated us no problem. We were shown a cheese board by the lovely waiter with the...moustache and couldnt resist - it was gorgeous...then while deciding on our main we realised the menu had gin pairings for each dish - smart! We both decided on steak for mains and this is where it got interesting...steak came out cooked to absolute perfection surrounded by a stunning jús and amazing chips...its the simple things! We had steak 3 out of 7 nights and this was by far the best!! Not to mention when u take your face out of your food and look at your sorroundings👌😍 Please open a restaurant in Cork, Ireland!❤More

I would highly recommend to book. We went three times and each time we saw at least one table with large extended families including young children. There isn't a terrace in the main dining area but not sure if there is one... More

My fiancé is gluten intolerant and it worked out fine. The risotto, ceviche, mashed potatoes were fine. He did break down and try the amazing bread they serve with the compound butters and he said it was worth it. But yes... More
