Just off one of the main streets in Bairro Alto, this restaurant was tucked away from the mad dash of traffic. I went in and asked if they spoke English, and they did which was comforting. The staff were friendly and helpful. I ordered the Portuguese beef steak, which was very tasty, however it still had parts of bone attached... More

Been here for the first time and was quite amazed with the service and food. Even though the restaurant was quite busy but the head waiter was so helping and never failed to reach us. Chicken piri piri and sardines are highly recommended.

Went to this place a couple of years ago and was delighted to find that the food and service is still very good. It is located off the main road and has tables both in and outside. The food is traditional and good value. The staff esp the head waiter are very helpful.

Just stopped here for lunch after an early flight. Enjoyed some starters and a plate of grilled sardines each. Friendly and helpful staff

Had a lovely meal here last night. Wasn't really expecting much because we arrived late and we're starving, however the waiters and the owner were very welcoming and friendly. My wife had the Portuguese beef and I had the Brazilian beef and both dishes were superb, lovely and tender cuts of beef. Would definitely eat here again.

Would recommend this restaurant as a hidden gem. The waiter was very helpful and food excellent. It was very busy with nearly all local people which we thought was a good sign

We had lunch here as it was in a quiet-ish side street away from the busy Lisbon streets. We had bread and olives, tomato salad, mains of cheese omelette and pork with mushrooms and two very large glasses of wine. Although it wasn't the cheapest place in town at €29 the food couldn't be faulted and the portion size of... More

This is a great diner with great food, service, and prices. The octopus rice is highly recommended with the Brazilian steak.

We visited this restaurant on our first day in Lisbon. Friendly staff. We sat outside on the hill, would suggest sitting inside. The food was average and overpriced.
