I work on ships and we dock at the Port of Lisbon quite often. Don Pomodoro is a crew favorite and I've NEVER had a bad meal there. Fantastic pizza, delicious desserts, and sangria to die for. BTW, my personal favorite is the funghi (mushroom) pizza...but they're all good. Now, I've had pizza all over the world, Italy included, and... More

Every summer since 2009 we've been at this place. First time because it was next the ''5 oceans restaurant'' and it was the same owne so u could sit where you like. We sat down at Don Pomodoro because of the waiter by the name Fernando. His presence there as a waiter was like having a friend. This summer 2014,... More

Whilst visiting Lisbon over the Easter period we stumbled across this restaurant in amongst another dozen, along my fellow travellers we had a fantastic meal with a great varied choice, the meal was made even better by all of the staff who were all great hosts including the chefs who even divulged his secret peppercorn sauce recipe, to further enhance... I've been to this restaurant a couple of times and they were always very pleasant meals! Service is very kind, food is good, and is located on the docks, by the river, which is a plus.

This is what I consider a reliable restaurant. Every time I go there irrespectively of being with family, friends or business associates it never let's me down. The location is very nice and so is the decoration, the prices very affordable and the staff and the food very nice. It's a very good combination of quality and price and usually... More

I went there for a dinner with some friends and was surprised by the rudeness of the waiter, always swearing and not being helpful at all. The dishes were not so great as expected, a bit undercooked, but we can´t say that they didn´t come fast. We paid 15€ but with no dessert, the sangria was good but limited to... More

One of the best places for a dinner is the italian restaurante Don Pomodoro. Staff are very nice and having a meal by the Tagus under the Big Lisbon Bridge is quite an amazing experience! Beside the lovely Pastas, we can not help of tasting the tomatoe soup, which is absolutely rich.

On a third visit to Lisbon, this was our first port of call, on the first night out. The setting is superb, and there is a waiter offering passers bye, bits of Parmesan on a cocktail stick! To entice you into the restaurant! It worked in most cases! The food is consistently good, and the portions generous. The house wine... More
