Nice location, tapas alright, tasty. But at the end, no any credit card accepted. In the very famous culinary quarter of Portugal main city, it's not very welcome. You have to know that: bring cash

I have nothing good to say about this place! We had to wait over an hour before our starters where served, when they finaly arived, there was a great disappointment. Some diches where burnt, others where not good anymore and everything was simply disgusting! It was so awful, we canceled our mains! Even though we have hardly touched anything, everything... More

We have been rambling inside Bairro Alto, and have chosen this bar due to the interior and music. It is very stylish there, with many nice old things, and Mariza was on, so we reacted on music. It was a right place to have drink and take some rest, and order a chocolate cake for our toddler. The waiter was... More

We stumbled across this tiny place and 3 of us ate here after returning from the beach. We were there fairly early so didn't have to wait for a table but there are no more than 20 covers so it fills up quickly. The place is very intimate and atmospheric with the tables very close to each other. And the... More

This was my first experience of dinner in this lovely city. A tiny restaurant, almost like a front room with more tables! The whole experience was a unique pleasure for me. The food was, simple , authentic and well presented. If I had more time here i'd go through the entire menu. We returned on our last night, but it... More

We started with the cod fish cakes, which had a very smooth consistency. For entrees we ordered the duck rice, which also had pieces of Portuguese sausage and pork loin stuffed with sausage and cheese. They were delicious. Very tiny place right in the middle of Barrio Alto. While the food was great the service wasn't the best. Wear to... More

You really feel like you are being cooked for by someone's mum in this lovely little restaurant. There are bread olives and cheese on the table when you arrive and A welcome drink. Can't be 100% sure but I think these are complimentary We both had a pork dish with rice. Good value and large portions

Stumbled upon this sweet little family restaurant after walking around the area looking for authentic home-cooked food. We were glad we found it as the waitress offered us a personal and friendly service. A highlight was the honey-soaked spicy chorizo - the best I've ever tasted! Don't be daunted by the closed glass door and the small size - it's... More
