Small restaurant with a nice feel. I had cannelloni and it was ok. The rest of my family had pizza and they said it was delicious. we asked for bread and none was served to us. Lovely little alcove area with another restaurant. Quiet atmosphere with a patio available.

I had the carbonara while my husband had a pizza. The pizza was pretty good but the pizza was not as fantastic. There were outdoor seating, but we sat indoors as it was quite chilly outside. Service was good and the waiters were attentive.

Loved this restaurant off of a small street. The smell of pizza grabs you as you walk in.The wine was great and the food was amazing. Had pizza and my partner has their special - a spaghetti dish that was very unusual.

Great ambience, great food, few options but very well served, at a very reasonable cost. Awesome pizzas. Very nice people. For me, it only would be perfect with a few more options of special beer, even one of each style would do. So I would be able to pair with the correct food. Will be back for sure.

Been here twice now and it doesn't disappoint. The pizza sauce is the freshest I have ever tasted. The bases are light and fluffy and the waiters are great. Set off a Main Street in a courtyard this place doesn't disappoint. Go!!

This wasn't a great experience. We waited 45 minutes until the kids were about to cry from hunger, and got three very poor pizzas. There was very little cheese on them and I think the tomato sauce was sweetened. Truly odd. We won't be going back there again. I don't know what all these reviewers calling it the best pizza... Great terrace very quiet and great service. It is a little hard to find as you need to go through a corridor to reach the terrace. The terrace is shared with another couple of restaurants. The pizza is simply outstanding.

We were walking through Rua Garret when we saw a small entrance to an inner courtyard. There we discovered this lovely terrace. Italian food always appeals to me, so we sat down and ordered a nice pizza and a bottle of wine. The wine was excellent, the pizza was tasty, and the waiters were friendly. We spent a joyful evening... More

Staying in Chiado & Carmo

Neighbourhood Profile
Chiado & Carmo
The traditionally trendy "Chiado" (literally, "squeak", the nickname of a 16th century poet) offers plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars where you can stop for a cafe or cocktail, after exploring its streets, shops, art galleries, theaters, museums and viewpoints. It's also the home to the statue of the famous statue of portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa, having is usual espresso at "A Brasileira" as he used to. You can also enjoy breathtaking views of Lisbon from the Elevador de Santa Justa or the Carmo Convent, for example. A commercial neighborhood at its core, especially for its Garrett and Carmo streets, Chiado is to this day a mandatory visit in Lisbon.
