Go at sunset, sit outside. Enjoy the view of the Tejo, the Torré de Bélem, the Ponte 25 de Abril, the hillsides on the other side of the Tejo. It's spectacular. The Darwin's space is also gorgeous. The food is very good, but not quite...More

The environment is superb; either indoor where the decoration masks the big open space with cozy islands, so you don't feel lost, or outdoors almost over the water. The food is great, specially the rizzotos. Prices around 20 € excluding drinks. Wine list not surprising,...More

Fascinating restaurant - beautiful artwork on the walls, Darwin's thoughtful/provocative sayings on the walls, glass front wall with a view of the water. It was too warm for us to eat outside and even though we did not have reservations, they were able to accommodate...More

Wonderful location by the river, service started a bit disappointing but got better as the meal progressed. Food was very beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. Grilled octopus on a bed of sweet potatoes was my dish....yummy. Plenty of local wines, lovely atmosphere inside and out.

To be honest the food was quite good, but the entourage is cold and doesn't reflect any of the portuguese warmth and hospitality you are looking for. There are also no traditional P meao's on the menu.

Breathtaking view over the Tagus river in an unique building. Good international food (pasta, salads) with portuguese options. To lunch in terrace is a fantastic experience. Good for friends, bussiness meals. Good service. Safe option always. Easy parking.

A scientific man ought to have no wishes ... but in my case it has to be to return to Cafe Darwin. The setting, the decor, the menu but particularly the staff made it a restaurant to revisit again, again and again. Cafe Darwin is...More
