While not the best Goan eatery in Lisbon the food here is very good and not too spicy. Good chamucas. Good vindalhos. Good service.

Me and my wife have been visit this restaurant for so many years, particularly on the first day of the year. No special reason, but simply because it's the best Goesa food restaurant in Lisbon. Today, we went there again with my brothers and sisters in law. Mr. Sebastião, the owner, is very friendly and has always a suggestion for... More

To begin with when we entered the restaurant the chef was very rude to us, it is good to keep in mind that this is not an Indian restaurant but only from Goa province! As the waiter suggested we ordered 6 dishes for 8 people everything was okay but the food was very normal nothing special, but when we got... More

Very good goan restaurant. Exquisite flavours. All the dishes we have had were delicious and very well presented. As dessert take the unavoidable Bebinka. Prices OK.

We stopped here one night a few weeks ago looking forward to some good Indian food. The prices were much higher than we anticipated for the area and style of food, but we were there, and we were hungry. The service seemed preoccupied, three different people helped us at different times and when we needed someone no one was available.... More

Second visit to this restaurant exceeded our first opinion, it's a very good goese restaurant. We know a great number of goese restaurants in Lisbon and this last meal was by any standard very good. The starters were very good and as main dish I ate a fantastic pulau. The rest of the team had different experiences, mama was delighted... More

The food was absolutely delicious. We booked for 8pm, and when we arrived tasty popadoms and coconut and garlic dips were already on the table. The samosas were excellent, and the main courses (vinhadalho - the Goan dish which gave origin to the vindaloo) were nice and spicy. Portions are large so we had enough for dinner the next day... We were looking forward to a nice meal of Goa-food, a mixture of Portuguese and Indian cooking, but we were awfully disappointed. After the usual Indian starter snacks which were fairly average we had caril de gambas, shrimps with rice and curry sauce. The dish was tasteless and consisted of 4 lonely lukewarm shrimps swimming in a dull sauce. What... More

We live out in the wilds, so on our (fairly frequent) trips to Lisbon we like to hunt down "different" restaurants to try. Hoping this would have food akin to what we enjoyed a few years ago in Goa, and being in the environs, we thought we'd give this one a go. The service was slow and somewhat surly, but... More
