We visited as part of a food tour. The restaurant is split over 2 floors with plenty of staff running around to serve you. All the food looks excellent. If you are going to try and Pastel De Nata (traditional custard tart) accompanied by a...More

Upon recommendation by the local guide, we have our light lunch in Confeitaria Nacional near to Rossio Square. There were not many seats downstairs but we succeeded to secure our table on second floor. There were many choices for you to view and select and...More

Got tempted to enter after seeing the beautiful Bolo do Rei in the display window. The staff member was very helpful and explained about the cake and the various sweets on display. Wide choice and the sweets are well packed for long journeys. A must...More

We were recommended this well-established cafe. It did not disappoint. The waitress Anna Rita could not have been more welcoming, smilingly offering us a table and the menu without pressure to stay. We had walked from our cruise ship and needed a break. The coffee...More

Had our first nata here and enjoyed it. The waitress was very helpful in addressing our concerns that the natas were vegetarian but not vegan. Had a good cafe latte as well! Gorgeous old building, and iconic institution!
