It was difficult to make a reservation because this can't be done online. We had also tried by phone but couldn't get through. We managed to get a table but saw many people being turned away who hadn't made a reservation. The service was non-existent. It relied on us having to go find a waiter every time we wanted to... Very interesting setup, inside a museum, creative menu... but food too much sophisticated, bad taste... some particular combo of ingredients that make dishes kind of weird and overall low quality... disappointed

This came recommended by our hotel. The food and ambiance was interesting, but the service ruined the experience. We never had a waiter, and I had to get the manager to even get a glass of wine and order food. After that, I had to grab a random waiter/waitress when they walked by to get a second glass. I did... What a fabulous original restaurant. Not only was the decor like stepping into the past in an old hospital, the food was superb as was the service and demeanour of the staff. The food was supposed to be tapas based however we ordered it as starters and main courses . but we actually Upon leaving we realised our expensive hotel... More

All the food at Pharmacia have something special about them. They are not ordinary traditional Portuguese cuisine, but they are not nouvelle cuisine either. The chef arranges them into something uniquely hers. The seasoning is very mild and subtle. so that you can enjoy the taste and flavor of the ingredients. The portions are small for Portugal which made them... More

we have been seriously looking forward to go this restaurant as friends of us have told us only good things and so did the reviews. we were so happy when we got a table for Monday evening (our last day in Lisbon) and really looking forward to it. Once the food arrived however we were less pleased (maybe we chose... More

Pharmacia looks amazing & is ultra-trendy but we had the worst meal of our holiday here. The pork was delicious but was immersed in a grey-yellow liquidised, tasteless mush. The octopus was also surrounded by a substance resembling baby food. Compared to other bars & restaurants in Lisbon, the staff are aloof & unfriendly. Good wine selection though.

Good food, good drinks, great view over river teijo from the terrace and very nice dining room. And great location. This place has got it all from refreshing limonade to oven grilled octopus, from fruit cocktail to free range stewed chicken. Highly recommended for romantic diner or lunch and going out with good friends. Will be back.

I had dinner at Pharmacy with a group of colleagues of mine, looking for a characteristic place where to spend a post-business meeting evening. We ended up at this restaurant and, despite the fact that climbing up until there was not an easy task, we enjoyed our visit. Decors highly intriguing, midway between a museum and the set from an... Coming from Cais do Sodre, climbing all the stairs is rewarded when dining in Pharmacia. Every small detail of the setting refers to a Pharmacy and with the museum of Pharmacy next door, that shouldn't be a surprise. If you like sharing food, then Pharmacia is an excellent place: Salad, vegetables, fish, meat,... all very well prepared in nice plates... More
