Tried this as previous good reviews and near our hotel. Gourmet hamburgers with no bun, delicious and very filling! We didn't book and just managed the last free table, very busy, advise booking. Would recommend!

RESTAURANT'S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 1 week ago via mobile

It goes without saying the food was amazing!! While the burgers don't come on a roll, they do come with a little burger on top of a big burger. Way better than a roll! Their menu has a variety of creative and mouth watering choices. I narrowed my choices down to 4, and left the decision up to the waiter,... More

Great service very friendly and polite staff. Tasty food with a good variety that is slightly different from most of the other food offers in the area. Restaurant is a beautiful rustic setting. We would definitely go back.

The service here is wonderful, the waiters are so sweet and attentive, it was such a pleasant experience! The burgers were delicious and really hit the spot! I got the Gorgonzola Burger while my partner ordered the Black Beer Burger. Both highly recommended by us, yum! We also ordered the chocolate mousse for dessert which we shared and was super... as the burgers hit the table, there was no doubt, we weren't in texas any more. and it was a good thing, because these burgers were great. big patties dressed with an aoili laced with garlic and cilantro, smoked ham wrapped over this stack, a dash of grilled onions and a fried egg, sunny side up, on top of it... Old classics still on the list but new interesting options now available since my previous visit. This time I took gorgonzola, so good. Friendly service, thank you very much.

The place is amazing. We made a reservation beforehand and it was the best thing to do. Around 8:30-9:00 it's packed and people waited outside just to be able to have dinner. The restaurant is nice and the staff knows what they do. The food speaks for itself. I'd recommend it if you like burgers as much as I do!

Visited this restaurant twice during our stay - excellent food on both occasions. Really liked the idea of no bun as so many times when eating burgers I end up leaving half of the bun so I can finish the burger! Choice of burgers is very good and the staff are excellent in advising you if you have queries about... More

Made a bee-line for this on our arrival in Lisbon after a day travelling and were not disappointed. The burger-without-a-bun concept means you get something a bit different, and have more room for the delicious burger patties and extras. I had the Nemesio, with delicious cheese sauce and caramelized pineapple. The salad was beautifully dressed and the fries tasted great.

I visited this restaurant a week ago when I was in Lisbon with my friends(5 of us). We found the place accidentally, we were very hungry and saw this place and thought let's try. You can't really go wrong with burger..anyway. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave us English menu. Very stylish by the way :) We... More

Staying in Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores

Neighbourhood Profile
Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores
A pending candidate to become a World Heritage Site, Lisbon's downtown (the "Baixa Pombalina", or simply "Baixa") is a perfect example of anti-earthquake construction, having been rebuilt following the 1755 earthquake by the famous Marquês de Pombal (hence its name). Its offer is vast: restaurants and cafes in Rossio and Restauradores, outlets and shops in the Áurea, Augusta, Prata and other famous streets, the imponent Praça do Comércio and its Arch, the luxury shops along the Avenida da Liberdade, this is the beating heart of the city center. The Baixa also grants easy access to trains leading to Sintra, the trams that go around the Castle hill, old neighborhoods or even take you to Belém, and Lisbon's traditional restaurants and cafes. Considering a visit to the Fashion and Design Museum (free entrance) and don't forget to try the famous liquor, "ginjinha"!
