First night in Lisbon, had a wonderful meal and drinks here. We had delicious fish and vegetable starters, followed by the sausage platter and grilled veg. The wine and cocktails went down well and we finished with desserts, coffee and port. Service was good. Lovely...More

We came with a large group of colleagues, the staff was truly welcoming and helpful. Regards to the food, the quantities were more than sufficient and very tasteful. The environment is the cherry on the cake since it is central and it's easy to go...More

I don't know for eating, but we just wanted to have an espresso and fresh orange guice, but both were worst ever. Orange juice was not fresh and full of ice, espresso was disgusting. Never here again!

Sat outside tonight and ordered drinks, starters and mains. When it got cold, we moved inside and upstairs to be forgotten about. We asked four different waiters for additional drinks and to chase our food up, but nothing happened. It was well over an hour...More

Great food great service. Order the burger. It was the best burger I've had ever. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the area and the location was brilliant. Taxis near by the water front near by and the square had an orchestra playing live. Brilliant

We visited this bar 3 times while in Lisbon as it is in a great location on the waterfront in the square. Drinks a good price, staff friendly, we didn't eat.

We've been the Can the Can before. It's not changed. The menu is simple yet is good enough to delight anyone's tastebuds. You can sit either inside or out. It's right in Lisbon Square. The staff are very attentive and friendly. We enjoyed our food....More

Spinach Watercress Purée soup could have been warmer. You can't beat today's Caiperenia five euros! Great views and nice jazz fusion playing. Outdoor setting on the Peace Comerciale!

A pending candidate to become a World Heritage Site,
Lisbon's downtown (the "Baixa Pombalina", or simply

earthquake by the famous Marquês de Pombal (hence its
name). Its offer is vast: restaurants and cafes in
Rossio and Restauradores, outlets and shops in the

Description
Conserves have always been around. But there is one small group of them (and one that it is worth getting to know) that resides at the margins of Lisbon's Terreiro do Paço – or, more precisely, at the Can the Can restaurant. This is a place where Portuguese canned and fresh foods meet every day and where, at the hands of chef Akis Konstantinidis, they combine to create a new concept in Mediterranean cuisine.Various typically Portuguese products are on show here, such as, for example, the best Port wines. And if you find that you like them as much as we think you may, you can always take them with you, too, courtesy of our first-floor store. On top of all this, we believe that if we sometimes eat with our eyes, then our ears can also help us to savour the best flavours. That's why you will find your meal accompanied by Portuguese guitar music every afternoon on the terrace and, in the evenings, by unique kinds of Fado. Our FadoLab project is the place where the Fado of yesteryear meets and is rejuvenated by Fado styles of today in a musical atmosphere free of grand ceremony or rules of behaviour. With all this in mind, we wish to say no more than our door is always open and no-one needs to ask in advance if they may enter. You'll find us here at your disposal.
