We came for lunch and were seated right away (it was 12:30 on a Saturday). We were bright done banana chips and corn while waiting for other food. They were delicious. We ordered a pisco sour, lomo saltado, and a langosta dish. After we ordered the server dish suggest some ceviche and we declined. The food, all of it, was... More

This is a restaurant in the old part of the town, without any luxury and where you can taste some good ceviche, but too expensive for the place where they are.

Small restaurant close to Terreiro do Paço. Nice and cheap peruvian food with excelent cevice dishes. Very nice staff. If you go this place avoid stay in the room next to the kitchen The exhaust fan is malfunctioning. Ask for a table in basement room!

This little busy restaurant, perfectly located between Alfama and Caixa serves excellent food that matches anything we have eaten in Peru. Attentive and friendly service - the house can get smelly once the kitchen gets going - all in all a very pleasant dining experience! Super ceviche, lomo saltado, suspiro de limeña!! Rosi and Tom CH/PE

Great entradas - you really need to try some even when they are not cheap at all. And take a pisco sour drink if you are allowed to have alcohol, something special you get not everywhere. We liked it, food and drink, also the warm welcome.

It's not common to find a Peruvian restaurant in Europe so when I realised there was one near where we are staying in Lisbon (near the cathedral) I then read all the reviews at TA and convinced my family to try it. The owner is married to a Peruvian and he was very friendly and helpful. We had the quinoa... More

A real taste of amazing food, it should be a 5 star restaurant cause the food is sublime. Atmosphere is chill and staff is nice. If you pass by Lisbon and you have just a bit of time don't miss it out. Buonissimo!!!

Excellent meal and quality. The ceviche and causa was as good as anywhere I had on a recent trip to Peru. Service was also very attentive and thoughtful. Then again, it should be considering it's a bit expensive for such a humble family owned restaurant. The meal would no doubt make us want to return, yet the cost is what... More

We found this restaurant just 2 months after our trip to Peru so we and a very notion of how typical this restaurant is. And it is very typical. From the corn to the cevice, to the pisco, this restaurant represents the typical Peruvian food. The staff is very helpful and the space is very intimate and small. One of... More

We were looking for a place to eat on a saturday night and we ended up eating at Qosqo. We didn't know anything about peruvian cuisine and were positively susprised. The food is excellent!!! I had the best sangria ever (yes :)) The staff is very friendly and helpful in explaining the meals and the prices are more than ok.... More

Staying in Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores

Neighbourhood Profile
Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores
A pending candidate to become a World Heritage Site, Lisbon's downtown (the "Baixa Pombalina", or simply "Baixa") is a perfect example of anti-earthquake construction, having been rebuilt following the 1755 earthquake by the famous Marquês de Pombal (hence its name). Its offer is vast: restaurants and cafes in Rossio and Restauradores, outlets and shops in the Áurea, Augusta, Prata and other famous streets, the imponent Praça do Comércio and its Arch, the luxury shops along the Avenida da Liberdade, this is the beating heart of the city center. The Baixa also grants easy access to trains leading to Sintra, the trams that go around the Castle hill, old neighborhoods or even take you to Belém, and Lisbon's traditional restaurants and cafes. Considering a visit to the Fashion and Design Museum (free entrance) and don't forget to try the famous liquor, "ginjinha"!
